What he means is that the muscle is torn and it hurts, but no major arteries have been clipped, he can walk on it, and unless there's some kind of venom or bacteria that Abomination carries that Steve's serum can't handle, he'll be good as new by dinnertime. "Do you still keep the med kit in the back compartment?"
Super-healing factor notwithstanding, it'd be smart to clean it out and put some gauze over it.
It's just that at the moment he's more interested in craning his neck to look out the window to watch the Raft vanish behind them. He hates this. Utilitarianism is not his preferred ethos. "I'm coming back once we get this settled," he says, promising himself more than informing Tony. "It'll most likely be too late, but..."
But it's the only thing he can promise at the moment to give himself the peace of mind to go on. Triage. They can't save everyone; they're doing triage.
